Simbavati Grumeti

Overview

Simbavati Grumeti is a safari property in Grumeti, Tanzania. We were asked to film and photograph the property and shape the material into marketing content for its website, booking partners and social channels.

The challenge

Guests choosing a safari stay want to know how it will feel, not only what the rooms look like. The content had to capture the spaces, the setting and the rhythm of a day. All of it had to come from a single trip to a remote location.

Our approach

We planned each day around the light, filming wide exteriors at sunrise and sunset and interiors in the softer hours between. Slow, steady gimbal moves led the viewer through the rooms and shared spaces, the way a guest would first walk in. Photography ran alongside the filming, so stills and footage share the same angles and styling. Small details, from a table set for dinner to a quiet corner with a view, gave the edit its pauses. In post-production we graded everything to one natural, warm look and cut a main property film plus short vertical versions for social media.
