Overview

Liberty Africa Safaris is a safari company that introduces travellers to the wildlife and landscapes of Africa. We produced its company overview video, handling the filming, the edit and the full audio production.

The challenge

An overview video has a lot to do in a short time: explain who the company is, show what a trip feels like and leave viewers ready to get in touch. Safari footage is everywhere, so the film needed a clear story and sound good enough to hold attention on a website, in a presentation or on a phone.

Our approach

We started with a short script that sets out who the company is, what it offers travellers and how it likes to work. The shoot followed that script, capturing wide establishing scenes, guiding moments and the small details of life on safari. In the edit we kept the pace unhurried, letting the landscape breathe between messages. Our audio team recorded the voiceover in a treated studio, then built a music bed and layered natural sound from the field so the film feels present rather than generic. The final mix was balanced for laptop speakers and phones as well as larger screens.
