Instinct of the Mara

Overview
Instinct of the Mara is part of the Secluded Africa collection, set in the Maasai Mara. Secluded Africa asked us for architecture photography and social media content to show the property and its setting across its channels.
The challenge
In a landscape as famous as the Mara, it is easy for the buildings to disappear into the view. The images had to show buildings and view together, and they had to be cut for the vertical and carousel formats that guests browse before they travel.
Our approach
We studied how the buildings face the plains and planned each wide frame around the low sun of early morning and evening. Architecture was shot with straight verticals and clean lines, so the structures read calmly against the open sky. Through the day we moved to interiors, textures and small details, styling each space so it felt lived in rather than staged. Every key scene was framed horizontally and vertically, and we built carousel sequences that lead the viewer from the landscape to the room. The final set was graded to the same warm palette as the other Secluded Africa properties.
What we delivered
- Architecture photography
- Interior and detail photography
- Social media content in vertical and carousel formats
- A graded image library
Outcome
Instinct of the Mara now shares one visual language with Kipalo Hills and Cardamom House, giving Secluded Africa a consistent collection across its website and social channels.
