Overview

Empactive Solutions wanted a professional set of images showing its people and its workplace. We produced headshots, corporate photography and office photography that the team could use across its website, profiles and presentations.

The challenge

Corporate photography often looks stiff, and that stiffness carries straight through to how a company comes across. The headshots needed to match each other closely, while the wider images had to show a real working office with energy and warmth. Everything also had to be captured in one visit, with as little disruption to the working day as possible.

Our approach

We set up a portable headshot studio in the office, with a soft key light, a gentle fill and a neutral backdrop so every portrait shares the same look. Each person had a few minutes in front of the camera, with gentle direction on posture and expression to keep things relaxed and quick. For the corporate images we photographed people at work in meetings, at desks and in conversation, using natural light where possible. Office photography covered the workspaces and meeting rooms, framed straight and level so the architecture reads cleanly. All images were retouched lightly and colour matched across the set.
