Cardamom House: Architecture photography, Social media content creation

Overview

Cardamom House is a property in the Secluded Africa collection. Secluded Africa asked us to photograph its architecture and interiors and turn the images into content for social media.

The challenge

Architecture photography has to be honest about space, proportion and materials while still feeling inviting. The images also had to sit naturally beside the other Secluded Africa properties and work in the tight frames of social feeds. Interiors bring their own problem, with bright windows and darker rooms in the same frame.

Our approach

We walked the property first to find the angles that explain how each space connects to the next. Wide frames were shot on a tripod with careful perspective control, so walls and doorways stay straight. We balanced bright windows against darker interiors by blending exposures, keeping both the view outside and the detail inside. Styling was kept light, with cushions, linen and table settings adjusted rather than added. Vertical frames were composed on set rather than cropped later, so nothing important falls outside a phone screen. Every selected image was graded to the warm palette shared across the Secluded Africa collection, then cropped for vertical and carousel posts.
