Branch

Overview

Branch is a mobile app for loans, savings and payments in Kenya. Through a monthly retainer we became an extension of its marketing team, producing social media design, campaign copy and a podcast series.

The challenge

Financial products are easy to make confusing. Branch needed a steady stream of content that explained features such as savings, quick funding and referrals in simple, friendly language. It had to stay true to the brand and be turned around fast enough to keep pace with campaigns.

Our approach

We built a flexible design system for Branch's social channels: bold colour blocks, clear headlines and the app itself on screen, so every post explains one idea at a glance. Our copywriters wrote in plain, warm English and kept a shared message bank, so every campaign sounded like the same brand. For longer conversations we produced a podcast, handling the planning, recording and editing, plus the short clips that promoted each episode. A monthly planning session kept content, launches and offers in step.
